Created for the Minimalist TTRPG Jam 4, and therefore presented with no art and the simplest possible layout.

This is the System Reference Document for the upcoming game Protoplastic, offering a generic version of the underlying rule set. The rules are a clean, modern blending of post-OSR and PbtA-lineage design trends, with the central innovation of a shared dice pool rolled ahead of time and assigned to checks, instead of rolling dice at the moment of use. Whenever the dice pool empties, time passes, an event (random or not) occurs, then the pool is refilled. This dice allocation system offers the pleasure of input randomness paired with the strategy of meaningful choice.

Feel free to use these rules as the basis of your own game, just say it's Built out of Plastic! Yes, the acronym is "BooP", I can live with that.
