Made for the Possum Creek Games Jam In Silence. "Hesychasm" comes from the Greek word for stillness, rest, or silence.

A game based around the premise of employing a novel randomizer: the number of breaths one can count without being distracted by outside thoughts, as in meditative practice. In this single session, 2-6 person game, you take on the role of a monk at a mountain monastery, alternating between solitary prayer and theological debate at the weekly communal meal. 

Keep in mind that players with experience meditating will have a distinct advantage, and may lead to shorter games.
